PREVENTION

High Visibility Address Signs

Snohomish County Fire District #19 provides free blue reflective address signs to residents, funded by the Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians. These signs ensure quick location in emergencies.

If you lack a reflective address sign, contact us to create and install one. For non-residents, the cost is $12. Accurate signage is crucial for emergency response. Call 360-652-8277 for details.

Blood Pressure Checks

Monitoring your blood pressure is vital for maintaining good health. High blood pressure, known as the "silent killer," often shows no symptoms but can lead to serious health issues like heart disease and stroke. To help our community stay healthy, we offer free blood pressure checks at our station located at 2720 212th St. NW, Stanwood.

You can schedule a check by calling (360) 652-8277 to ensure our firefighters and EMTs are available, or you can stop by the station. If our team is not on a call, we will gladly check your blood pressure on the spot. Regular monitoring is essential, especially for those with known health issues or risk factors.

CPR & First Aid Classes

CCPR & AED classes are available for $35, and a combo class including CPR, AED, and First Aid for $40. These classes are designed to equip you with essential life-saving skills. The online portion of the course takes about 2.5 hours and must be completed before attending the classroom session at Silvana Fire Department (2720 212th St. NW, Stanwood).

Residents of District 19 receive a discount—$10 for CPR & AED, $15 for the combo class. To obtain the discounted rate, please call 360-652-8277 to receive a coupon code before registering at Polaris Training Center.
